Vincenzo Di Nicola is Co-CEO at Conio, an Italian start-up funded by Poste Italiane, Italy’s National Postal Service, and other financial institutions, that provides enterprise solutions for banks to manage cryptocurrencies and have safe custody of digital assets.
Vincenzo is also researching and building e-voting solutions that leverage blockchain technologies to increase participation with community decision-making processes. He previously worked as CTO at GoPago (mobile payment start-up in San Francisco which had a tech exit with Amazon) and led Microsoft’s real time behavioural targeting teams in the US and China.
In December 2018, the Italian Government asked Vincenzo to join an expert panel charged with drafting the Italian blockchain strategy. Vincenzo is also a member of the scientific committee of the Republic of San Marino, assisting them with their national blockchain initiatives.
Vincenzo holds a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
