Marco Mercanti started his professional career as an International Art Lawyer.
Following his experience in the legal and compliance departments of Sotheby’s in London, he was invited to establish the Art Law department of Crowe Horwath International.
Marco founded “Oblyon-Art Business Intelligence” in September 2015.
Oblyon is a corporate Art Advisory with the main focus on Art Finance and Private Investments.
He is qualified to practice law in Italy and in Spain and acquired a PhD on the International Art Trade at the University of Rome.
Clients include commercial art galleries, art dealers, art collectors, auction houses, museums, artists, private banks and art investment funds.
Marco is a regular speaker and conferences in Italy, Spain and abroad and teaches Art Business Entrepreneurship at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and IULM in Milano and at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
