
Bruno Pellegrini began his career in P&G and Bain&Co where he focused on Telco and Internet practice. After receiving an MBA from INSEAD in ‘99, he was the Marketing and Content Director of Finivest’s web portal Jumpy then he founded OffSide (Ita), TheBlogTV (Italy, France, UK, Spain), BabelTV (Ita) and Userfarm (pan-European leader and US partnership). He launched one of the first blog platforms in Italy, created the first live-streaming video transmissions, developed social networks and vertical communities and introduced crowdsourcing, applying it to Audio Video content and TV formats. He also teaches Sociology of Media and has written two books on web democratisation and crowdsourcing. Currently he is the founder and CEO of Loquis, the platform for geo-localised podcasts.
