Bertrand has twenty-five years of experience in asset management with the main focus on tech investments and a long and proven track record in equity management and asset allocation.
Prior to founding DAA Capital Partners, Bertrand was Senior Investment Manager at Pictet Asset Management where he was responsible for large institutional accounts (USD1bn) as well as for the World Equity portfolio.
Prior to that, Bertrand was a Senior Fund manager at UBP Asset Management where he started and successfully managed the UBAM Technology Fund and set up a new sectorial management team. Bertrand started his banking career at LODH where he co-managed the DH CyberFund, pioneering the IT Fund sector in Switzerland.
Bertrand started his career at Hewlett-Packard as an IT engineer and consultant, covering the aerospace and finance sectors.
Bertrand currently serves as a jury member for Venture Kick, Switzerland’s largest startup accelerator program. Bertrand holds an M.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science from EPFL and an MBA from IMD Business School.
